The Mazda6 retains dynamic driving at its heart which ever engine you choose. Available with the 2.5-litre, 2.0-litre and 1.8-litre petrol engines and also the newly developed 2.2-litre diesel engine offered in three separate power derivatives: 129ps, 163ps and the breathtaking 180ps. Advances in technology mean this diesel engine has class leading fuel economy and CO2 emissions - without compromising on performance.
Available in two different body styles, hatchback or estate, it's easy to see how What Car? awarded the Mazda6 both the 'Family Car' and 'Estate Car of the Year 2010'. The Mazda6 has also won 'Best Estate Car' title at the 2010 Fleet News awards and 'Which Best Buy Large Car in July 2009'. To add to the success of the Mazda6, most recently the Mazda6 Estate won 'Best Car' at the 2010 Fleet World Honours.
As you'd expect, the Mazda6 drive is enhanced by a long list of high-tech features. The Sport model features Bi-Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting (AFS), Rear Vehicle Monitoring, smart entry with push button start, integrated Bluetooth system® and premium Bose® 6 speaker audio sound system.
The Mazda6 has a range of cutting edge safety features in order to let you enjoy the drive. Throughout the range six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (D SC), Traction Control System (TCS) and Electronic-force Distribution (EBD) are featured as standard. As well as Emergency S top Signal (ESS) system which helps prevents collisions from the r ear. When you brake heavily, it flashes the hazards warning lamps rapidly to warn the car behind.
